GET THE FACTS NY YOUTH LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

On March 26, 2007 hundreds of teens converged on Albany, New York to gain leadership skills and to advocate for access to reproductive health care and information.

The Youth Leadership Conference is an opportunity for teen advocates to meet new people and develop new creative leadership skills. This year’s workshops will provide opportunities for participants to discuss the impact of emergency contraception, the HPV vaccine and sex education on their lives. In addition, they will have the opportunity to learn valuable advocacy skills and participate in a media training workshop designed to help amplify their voices as new leaders in the reproductive rights movement.
